Then they said: Refugee
'Then They Said Refugee' tells the story of Fadi, a theatre instructor, living in Dheisheh refugee camp. He teaches his young students non-violent resistance, and how to grasp of their own Palestinian heritage. But when the line between violence and non-violence blurs, existential and sensitive questions arise making it difficult to know what to teach the next generation of West Bankers. This is a first film by Jacob Boswall and Persis Love, who aim to offer depictions of people caught in processes beyond their control.
